What we’re looking for:

We are looking for a data and results-driven individual to join our team as an Operations Analyst. This role will report to a designated Project Manager and will be tasked with supporting a project through the manipulation and analysis of large data sets in order to identify trends and develop unique solutions for clients. You will have the opportunity to apply your logical reasoning and business intelligence skills for a highly regarded client within the hospitality industry. This role will support a Project Team from the Oakville office on occasion, with a degree of flexibility to work remotely and within the local Toronto area.


The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing remote support to the field operations through a high-performing, billable project team;
  • Generating strategic insights and business solutions from large data sets with the intent to assist in the standardization of operations and best practices for a highly regarded client;
  • Heavily utilizing Microsoft Excel and additional platforms to analyze large data sets to solve analytical problems, building excel tools to analyze performance;
  • Determining the best options to analyze data, presenting them to the team and executing on the determined choice;
  • Clearly communicating data output and analysis with the project team;
  • Ensuring deliverables are well defined with clear expectations, that they follow company brand standards and are client ready in a timely manner;
  • Implementing strategies, best practices, process improvements, and analytical frameworks.

What we require:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree required, with a distinction in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field, as we all a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role;
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, SQL and experience building tools to be used by yourself and by others within the organization;
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a remote and results-oriented environment;
  • Superior analytical and organizational skills;
  • Written / oral communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Problem-solving and resourcefulness aptitude, with a demonstrated ability to work independently, and optimize the use of all available resources with limited direction.
